Equipment that changes everyday life
The ERay Mission is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We exist for one reason: to make sure children and families aren't left without specialized medical equipment just because insurance said no.
What we do
A wheelchair, a walker, a specialized bed or a supportive chair can be the difference between being stuck and being part of things — at home, at school and out in the world. Too often, families are told insurance won't cover it, or are left with a co-pay they can't manage.
That's where we come in. When a family has been denied by insurance, they can apply to us. They send the invoice from their equipment provider, and once the request is approved, we pay it.
How it works
- Apply. Choose the Full Application for a complete piece of equipment, or the Co-pay Application for help with a large co-pay.
- Share the paperwork. For full equipment, include your insurance denial letter. We'll then ask for the invoice from your equipment provider.
- We review. We look at each request carefully for a real medical or functional need.
- We pay the invoice. Approved requests are paid against the provider's invoice, so donations go toward the equipment itself.

- Privacy. The information families share with us is used only to review and fulfill their request. We never sell it.

Our ethics
We are a charitable organization, and we hold ourselves to the standards that come with it. We operate exclusively for charitable purposes, keep accurate records, and use donated funds for our mission. We keep the personal and medical information people share with us confidential.
